Milk Cake - Summer Camp 2022 Brunch Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C
- Butter and flour a baking pan
- Sift the flour and baking powder in a bowl and set aside
- Put in the mixer bowl the butter and 1 cup sugar and mix at high speed until it is fluffy.
- Then add the eggs and the teaspoon vanilla extract and continue mixing
- After add the flour in the mixture but at a low speed very slowly until it all gets in the mixture
- When its all mixed well , pour it in the pan and put it in the preheated oven for 30 min.
- After 30 min pierce it with a fork to make sure its cooked if the fork comes out clean
- Take it out if the oven if its cooked and ket it cool.
- Then in another bowl mix the full milk, the evaporated milk and the condensed milk all together. Then pour the milk over the cooled cake .
- After in a bowl beat in the mixer the whipping cream with 1 cup sugar and the teaspoon vanilla.
- When its thick put it over the milk cake
- Add on top some cocoa powder and its ready
- Then put it in the fridge to cool and soon its ready
